Most rigid and plunger models were fitted with a standard triangular shaped toolbox, from 1932, with the hinge at the bottom. 1937-40 models used a toolbox with a loose lid and a centre fixing screw. The W/NG used a standard toolbox and most contracts specified a second toolbox that was mounted vertically with a horizontal hinge across the middle. The MK I and MK II Square Fours used a kidney shaped toolbox from 1951, on the 1956-58 MK II the toolbox was moved to the left hand side. All swinging arm models also had a toolbox mounted on the left. Various brackets and knobs were used over the years.
