Catalogues

Our catalogues are world famous, many owners and experienced restorers use them as their bible when working on their bikes. They generally list all the parts available, with illustrations where practical. They also include loads of extra information such as, tables of carburettor settings, the meanings of Lucas dynamo codes and practical tips (not all them serious). Prices are not included in the catalogues, this ensures that the catalogues do not go out of date so often. The prices can be found on our website! Most of these documents are in PDF format and a PDF reader will be needed to read them. If you click on the links you can either download a copy or if you wish you can order a paper version. If you have any problems downloading a catalogue then please right click on the link, usually written as “HERE” and select “save target as” (Internet Explorer) or “save link as” (Firefox).

BSA Pre Unit – List B3 (A7 & A10, B31, B32.. C10, C11.., M20 etc) Covers all pre-unit models (pre-unit means that the engine and gearbox are separate units) mainly 1939-62 but does include some earlier applications. The current edition is called B3 (B for BSA and 3 because, well it’s the 3rd one) it is 179 pages long and includes much useful and some not so useful information. Available on paper, CD or as a download. The paper and CD versions cost £5 including post to anywhere in the world, the CD includes the Ariel four stroke catalogue. DO NOT USE THIS CATALOGUE FOR C15, B40, B25, B44, B50, A50, A65 OR BANTAM. To download click HERE or to buy one for £5.00 click HERE

BSA Unit machines We do not have a catalogue at present for any of these bikes and there is not really any need for one as copies of the original parts books are all available and are fully illustrated. See list of BSA literature. Use one of these to find the part number of the part required and look it up on our website to check availability. If it is not listed drop us an e-mail to find out why! Either that or browse our online shop and buy from there.

Ariel 4 Stroke – List 15 Covers all models 1926-58, except the 1954-58 Colt. Our longest running catalogue now on number 15, the first was published in 1977 and was 4 pages long, now it is 178 pages and according to one customer is “a valuable reference work”. To download click HERE or to buy one for £5.00 (free postage worldwide) click HERE

Ariel 2 Stroke – List V Covers the Leader and Arrows. A long overdue rewrite was undertaken in 2005 and is now very well illustrated; currently number V, a mere 40 pages but then only 2 models. Available on paper or as a download from HERE. The paper version is free and can be ordered HERE.

Ariel Colt – List LH2 Covers the 1954-58 Colt, not the 1929-32 version. This is such a top catalogue that it is almost worth buying a Colt, I said almost. Contains many illustrations that are not in the parts books. The paper version costs nothing including post to anywhere in the world. Available on paper or as a download from HERE. The paper version is free and can be ordered HERE.
