When fitting to and Ariel Leader or Arrow please use the FA1334Q bolt as the nut is a bit tight.
With the introduction of the Zener diode, Lucas started 12 volt systems. Originally old generators were retained unmodified should you wish you can connect green/yellow and green/black together and it becomes a 2-wire type which, incidentally, gets uprated to about 100 watts at the new voltage.
