Gearbox grease, 750ml
£23.54 excluding vat
Early gearboxes used plain grease, which was fine except that the gears tended to cut a path through it, in other words it was not fluid enough. In 1930’s crude oil seals were added to Burman gearboxes to enable a mixture of oil and grease to be used, which was rather messy to make up, the oil and the grease didn’t actually mix all that well and it was a problem getting it into the gearbox. Our semi-fluid grease is a proper runny grease designed to overcome these problems, thick enough to provide protection and runny enough to get everywhere.
Please be aware that we are unable to send liquids/grease/sealants above 1 litre outside the UK via Royal Mail. These would be posted via courier which will incur extra shipping costs.
