MO Series magneto
Fitted to all single cylinder models 1936-58, anti-clockwise rotation with the advance and retard control on the left and the pick-up on the right, which means that the ignition is advanced when the cable is tight. It is not unusual for a different magneto to have been fitted sometimes with a different configuration of the pick-up and ignition control. Remember that left and right are as viewed from the drive end.
