The KH Fieldmaster, or Red Hunter Twin as it was originally known and the de-Luxe KG were also designed by Val Page, they appeared in 1948, the KHA with an alloy head and cylinder was added in 1953 but dropped in 1954 when the KH gained the alloy head but not the cylinder. It is not particularly quick due to the somewhat long stroke but most owners agree that it is a very pleasant and under-rated machine, sales were initially high but dropped off dramatically around 1954 and the model was dropped in 1957, one year before the others.
A selection of used heads and cylinders are always available.
The outside diameter of the KH valve guides is 1/2″.
