This is a complete ‘plug and play’ kit, with everything required, no modifications necessary.
A twin leading shoe setup improves breaking considerably as both ends of brake shoes are pressing against the hub at the same time. In the original single leading shoe setup the braking force is only applied at one end of the shoes. The design has been taken from the late BSA A65 models.
